Crissman update
I talked to UCLA coach Rick Neuheisel this afternoon and he said there was good news regarding freshman quarterback Nick Crissman.
Neuheisel said the latest MRI on Crissman's throwing shoulder was clean, and it appeared surgery would not be needed. Instead, the prescription is for Crissman to rest, and he may be able to return to scout team duties later this season.

BD - did they confirm the labrum tear, and are simply going the PT/therapy route over the surgery routhe, or is it not in fact a tear?
I've had the labrum tear and rehabbed my way back w/o surgery - not fun (although neither is surgery), if that's the case he's gone for the year I'm guessing...
oops, my reading skills remain solid. The "MRI was clean" - so no tear then. That's great news.
