What are some thoughts about today's game? Keys to the game? Will UCLA show up after a big win? Is this a defining game for the type of season in store?

IMHO, the key for UCLA is for the offense to get something that resembles a running game going early (nothing big, just being able to average close to 3.0 yds/carry)and put up a few first downs so that the D doesn't get too gassed early.

On offense - having and accurate and effective short passing game (three step drops, roll outs, screens, draws) no turnover, and being able to run the ball enough to make our play action respectable.

On Defense - make BYU a one-dimensional (take away their running game), disrupt their offensive timing (pressure Hall, bumps receiver/ends off the line), win the take away battle and tackle well.

Special Teams - win field position, no turnovers, and our kicking game must be 100%.

As I see it, it comes down to 3 things:

1. Can the Bruins get consistent pressure on Hall?

2. Can the Bruins get a push on the O-line?

3. Which Craft shows up in this game?

If the team can not get pressure on Hall, it will be a long game. If the Bruins can "control" the LOS on the offensive side, they can keep the D fresh. Craft in the second half played well, and did not make mistakes. I think that guy will show up today, and have a big game.

Why do the 2 commentators look like they just came from the Fontana Speedway? I swear, Versus is by far the worst sports channel ever. Our game is following a freaking fishing show.

I should have just made the dang trip to Provo. This telecast is going to be HORRIBLE.

Hey Brian, you are in the press booth right? Tell that color commentator to shave his beard. Dude looks like a loadie.

I think Craft will not be allowed to win another game with a dink passing attack. At least a few mid-range completions will be required.

This will be a low-scoring, close game, 20-17, pick 'em, and the team with the fewer turnovers wins.
