Friday's post-practice

| | Comments (1) |

UCLA coach Rick Neuheisel said he was pleased with the intensity and tempo of Friday's practice, which included a lot of his yelling and him asking for extra effort on several occasions.
It was also a quick practice before coaches headed to airports and to a few games across the SoCal to take in some high school games. There was nothing out of the norm, other than Johnathan Franklin looking good on a few runs.
Neuheisel also said he expected receiver Nelson Rosario (knee) to be back at practice by Tuesday.
UCLA does not practice Saturday or Sunday.

BD-
Thought that Nelson needed an MRI, does that mean he only has a sprain and that the MRI came back negative?

If so glad is okay as we will need him to spread the field up in Utah.

About Inside UCLA

This is Brian Dohn's sixth season covering UCLA after spending 4 1/2 years covering the Dodgers for the Daily News and other Los Angeles Newspaper Group papers. He graduated from Rutgers, where the first college football game was played in 1869. Sure, the Scarlet Knights suffered for a long time, but now RU is doing what Jerseyans always thought was possible. Winning at Rutgers also proves winning is possible everywhere else in the nation, so underachieving coaches better be careful. Now, if only men's hoops can turn it around.
