Harwell remembers...
Brigham Harwell remembers watching UCLA's last game against Fresno State in which Fresno State beat UCLA 17-9 in the Silicon Valley Classic. Harwell was a high school senior who already commited to UCLA.
``I was at a hotel and I was watching with Aaron Perez when we were at the California Bowl,'' Harwell said. ``It was so disappointing. I was so eager to come help this team out.''

Ahhhh, yes... Another signature Dorrell loss. One of many. My favorites were:
1) Wyoming in the Vegas Bowl
2) Florida State in the Emerald Bowl
3) Utah @ Utah
4) Arizona @ Arizona
5) Notre Dame ... TWICE
6) Washington State in 2006 and 2007
7) 30+ point losses to USC
Mmmmmm.. Those were the days.
I was at that bowl, the now defunct Silicon Valley bowl. A toilet bowl, and we still couldn't pull out a victory. Ironically, the Emerald Bowl, which pretty much replaced that bowl, was also the scene of another embarrassing loss for the Bruins.
I hate fresneck state. They're such a dirty team and every time we play they we come out with a ton of injuries.
The mud bowl was AWEFUL. I'm so sick of freezing my butt off while watching us lose in bowl games.
VB is right...those were some BAD games. I was at the Arizona @ Arizone game. Brutal.
I have a really bad taste in my mouth Still from that Arizona game in 2005. It seemed like a bad dream.
I remember walking in like kings, ready to take over the city; no one saying anything. Suddenly the game started and even the 90 year old 'cats fan was pumping his fist at us!
Then there was the biggest looking dweeb in the pressbox that kept pushing his butt against the glass window at us.
