Looking JUCO

From what I'm hearing, UCLA is in the process of scouring the junior college ranks to see if there are any players available to help them upgrade the talent.
I'm hearing the staff is getting a bunch of film in from across the nation to evaluate the talent, and see which players could qualify academically to get into UCLA. And, yes, I believe the offensive and defensive lines are target areas.

This might be a dumb question, but if admitted would they be eligible to play now?

haha, yeah, dumb question... sorry.

there are no such things as dumb questions, only easy questions to answer.

Dear MaltBaa...

As smart as you may pretend to be, it was a request for someone to simply answer the question and offer some incite. Now since you felt the need to respond, I can only think of what your sad and pathetic life is really all about, where you have to find the need to post your nonsense.

I guess this will help. What is happening with Martinez, Philipp, Hasiak and Graham? I had already penciled them in as Bruins??

Wow, do you think that there's some big 6'8" tackles out there that can help??

Alexandr,
no ill intent just responding to your post, where you thought it was a dumb question. i just responded, and actually agreed with you. If you didnt say anything about a "dumb question" then i would not have responded. but since nobody answered the question, i will . They will not have the opportunity to compete for ucla until they are actually attending UCLA. so next year seems to be the most likely

Actually, I don't think classes have started yet, so I think it's possible they could play right away if they could get admitted quickly. There's a story on the Seattle Times blog saying that UDub is trying to get a former Taft High player to fly up tonight & enroll, and it sounds like he might have the opportunity to play this season.

If they're eligible to enroll now then I'm pretty sure they'd be able to contribute this season.

Hopefully they don't go after another, "Donovan Edwards," when looking at JUCO prospects!
