Post-practice stuff
Rick Neuheisel wouldn't name any definitive starters on the positions which don't have an official starter (running back, left guard and free safety). Darius Savage continued to work with the first team at left guard. Chane Moline worked with the first team at running back. Rahim Moore told the Daily News Wednesday he expects to earn the starting job at free safety.
Neuheisel still didn't officially rule Kahlil Bell out, but he's done everything but that. On Thursday, he said he's ``teetering over the edge of out.''
Neuheisel said he will travel with 74 players, including Bell (who's not expected to play), and Logan Paulsen, Ben Olson, Pat Cowan and Marcus Everett - who are all out.
Nelson Rosario won't make the trip.

Unofficially: Moline will start at Tailback, Savage at Left Guard and Moore at FS. This is just about as sure as a pig wearing lipstic still being a pig. :0)
I like the idea of taking the injured seniors with them to Provo. Neuheisel said that having them would add "leadership." I imagine that there is a lot of down time on a road trip that begins on Thursday and includes the trip back where the seniors could have a positive impact on the rest of the team. Besides, it must be very depressing to someone who spends so much of his time and effort to prepare for a game and then not be able to participate. Traveling with the team keeps the injured guys feeling like they are still part of it.
