Post-practice tidbits
Just got done talking to UCLA coach Rick Neuheisel, who said he wasn't thrilled with the way the offensive line practiced today. He said everyone was rusty from having two days off, but said the offensive line needed to give a better effort.
Also, Darius Savage ran with the first team offense at left guard, taking the place of Scott Glicksberg, who was with the second team offense. It's not a done deal, but there is competition there, Neuheisel said.
Neuheisel added tackle Mike Harris (ankle) and receiver Gavin Ketchum (mononucleosis) would be available for Saturday's game against BYU, but receiver Nelson Rosario (knee) was questionable.

O-line should be the hardest working group after their poor effort vs. Tennesse. 31 rushes for 29 yards is NOT going to get it done at any level of football!
Wow Glicksberg was much better than Tevaga
And so the boy are "rusty" after only 2-days off. It is amazing how elite athletes can lose their edge so quickly.
We'll run the ball against BYU. They will be so focused on stopping Chow's passing schemes that they will forget about the run. I think we will run for at least 100 yards.
TRUTH - as a former elite athlete, how many days off before you would become slightly rusty??
Nice line of questioning Zippy but I think a more appropriate one might be: "Truth, at which junior college did you participate in intramurals?"
I use "elite" loosely...
