Pre-game discussion

It is three hours until kickoff, and I'm sure folks are excited. I know I am. I'm curious to see if UCLA's offensive line can muster a running game, whether quarterback Kevin Craft will keep from turning the ball over, and how badly UCLA offensive coordinator Norm Chow and defensive coordinator DeWayne Walker will out-coach their opponents, not to mention if that is enough for the Bruins to win.

Craft has to control the game. He has to limit the picks and other bad things. Optimistically, I think he will. 1) The D the team has is opportunistic, it will create turnovers; 2) He is a coach's son. It will come to him as the game moves along and he gets the feel of things.

I think the Vols are going to go after the secondary of the Bruins. I do not see them playing conservative, they will want to take the crowd out of the game. But, Walker is going to come after Crompton from everywhere to neutralize the "big strike".

Brian, sorry that Fresno State seems in control of Rutgers now with ~6:00 to go. Crowd does not seem in the game at all.
