UCLA Hoops No. 4
It's never too early for preseason rankings, regardless of the sport. And Athlon magazine has UCLA No. 4 in its prseseason rankings. Here is the release:
Athlon Sports' College Basketball annual will be available on newsstands on Sept. 9.
Athlon ranks UCLA No. 4 in its preseason top 25 and predicts the Bruins to win the Pac-10 and advance to the Final Four for a fourth straight season. Senior guard Darren Collison is the preseason Pac-10 Player of the Year and a first-team All-America selection. Two more Bruins receive all-conference recognition -- senior Josh Shipp (second team) and freshman Jrue Holiday (third team). In addition, Holiday is the preseason Pac-10 Newcomer of the Year.
