Here is the 19th set:

What type of impact do you foresee the retirement of Olson having on our program? Will UCLA have a dominant position that other schools will not be able to approach for a while?
I don't think the retirement is bad for Arizona. It's been a while since Olson had control of his players on the court, and UCLA already established its superiority. If anything, if Arizona makes the right hire, it could hurt UCLA.

With the lack of a recruiting power in the West, will UCLA be able to dominant in recruiting west coash players with Olsen's retirement? (players such as Josh Smith)
I don't know. My crystal ball is in the shop.

Buzz is abound that Mike Moser is considering UCLA now, too. Have you heard anything about this, and if so, will UCLA have a ride for him?
There's only so many players UCLA will be able to bring in and right now I don't know if Moser will want out, and if UCLA has a slot for him.

what kind of job would it take to get you to leave the UCLA beat? Would you ever consider doing a sports radio show if given the opportunity?
I haven't really thought about it. I love my job, so I'm not looking to leave.

What are "realistic" expectations for James Keefe this year? Have heard about the supposed added bulk (much needed), but don't see him much more than a 6/6 (points/boards) contributor.
I think if Keefe gives UCLA eight points and six rebounds a game, it will be a good season for him.

Wondering if you have any insight into who may get the SC job if PC ever leaves?
None at all. Nor do I care until Carroll actually gets close to even thinking about leaving.

Who do think may get the UW job? I'm thinking Jim Harbaugh. Appreciate your thoughts.
One popular name is Jim Mora Jr.

what do you make of allmond only getting offers from mid-major types, aside from ucla?
I think Norm Chow knows what he wants in a fullback, and Allmond fits the mold. I don't think he cares who else offered the kid.

with baca out, is there a shot of chandler moving to OT since Kia (stinks) and in case baca can't recover in a couple weeks? Any possibility Chandler starts at OT after the bye if Baca is still out?
No, because UCLA is even more depleted at tight end, and Chandler has a month or so of experience as an offensive lineman, so putting him in would not be good.

I think Jim Mora Jr. is the anointed heir of the Seattle Seahawks head coaching job that Holmgren is abdicating after this season, no? Even as bad as the Seahawks are, UW is far worse off, and it's the still NFL, baby!

Mora will not coach at UW.

Regarding the UDub job, rich huskie alums are pushing Gary Pinkel's name (the coach at Mizzou). Frankly I doubt that he'll want to leave now that he's built this program, but he was an asst. at UDub and supposedly loved living in sEattle...
