Attendance estimation
UCLA is telling me it is expecting 60,000 to 65,000 for Saturday's game against Washington State.
Also, UCLA is reminding folks of potential traffic because USC, the Dodgers and UCLA are all home.
From UCLA:
Fans attending the UCLA-Washington State game at the Rose Bowl are encouraged to arrive at the Rose Bowl early and tailgate or visit the Fan Zone in Area H, which opens at 3:00 pm.
In addition to the UCLA game, which begins at 7:15, USC is playing at the L.A. Coliseum at 5:00 pm and the Dodgers are hosting the Chicago Cubs at Dodger Stadium at 7:00 p.m. Fans going to the Rose Bowl should avoid the 110 Freeway if possible to avoid the traffic in the downtown area and plan on arriving early.
I think they are also hosting a college fair and inviting a bunch of middle and high school students from LAUSD to attend the fair and then the game for free. That pumps up attendance a bit. They usually do it against Washington State or another team that doesn't travel or draw well.
I hope to be at the Rose Bowl in Lot H with VB and the rest of his crew at 5:00 a.m.

That is well over 200,000 fans for one day of sports in Los Angeles. Maybe we are the sports capital of the country.

Oh well, you hit the nail right on the head. I shall be there at the butt crack of dawn to tailgate for 12 hours before watching us struggle against WSU. It's my brother's last home game before heading to Marine bootcamp. We better win!
Unfortunately, more Bruin fans will be watching the Do-Doy-Doyers than we think. We'll probably have about 49,000 in attendance.
Oh great, this week is gonna be "I'm an inner city kid going to college and wearing a USC jersey to the UCLA game" day. Can't wait! Way to sell tickets Guerrero!!!
Is our freaking marching band going to do another joint show with the opposing team's band again? Oh wait, I forgot, WSU's band won't be there. Darn! I really enjoyed that unification and harmony displayed by Dr. Gordon Henderson's band last week. That was so great to see.. pfffffffffffffff
How many criminal and felons will be among the respected games this weekend. Here is my line.
Rose Bowl - 100
Dodger Stadium - 4000
LA Coliseum - 6000
The end zones will be full of freeloaders from the "I'm going to college" promotion. And, yes, VB, it ticks me off when doezens of the kids coming will wear SUC jerseys and shout "Fight On" as they file into the Rose Bowl. But, with a weak drawing opponent, gottta fill the seats, right marketing dept?

even though i wish the stadium would be packed every game with bruin fans that cheer and stay for the whole game, it isnt, so i just worry about myself and who i am with and have a great time as im sure the ub/vb/cb/fb/cb/tb/bb/rb/gb/wb family on here does every game. im happy the game is later so we can have a longer tailgate party! woohoo, go bruins!
p.s. also i hope the bruins can in so vb's brother can see another win before going to bootcamp. as a veteran myself give him thanks and good luck in his time serving our country.

You got some of the names right when you listed. There is indeed a UB, VB, RB and GB. But there is no CB, FB, TB, BB or WB.
The UBTA consists of GB, OB, UB, EB, PB, VB, DB and JB(the marine).
Thanks for you kinds words for JB. He too is proud to serve his country. He is going to be relying on VB to send him the UCLA scores via mail when he is at Pendleton.

That's right, we get all the inner city kids who have been putting a beating on the Westwood jv team for years already. Come on your program is so pathetic they're giving away tickets and still people will not attend. Oh I forgot only idiots like you who cheer for a jv team from westwood, who plays in pasadena, who puts la into their name, and gives tickets away. Even pee-wee leagues sell tix to their games.
