Cal kickoff set
UCLA's football game at California on October 25 will kickoff at 12:30 pm and will be televised regionally by ABC.

This is Brian Dohn's sixth season covering UCLA after spending 4 1/2 years covering the Dodgers for the Daily News and other Los Angeles Newspaper Group papers. He graduated from Rutgers, where the first college football game was played in 1869. Sure, the Scarlet Knights suffered for a long time, but now RU is doing what Jerseyans always thought was possible. Winning at Rutgers also proves winning is possible everywhere else in the nation, so underachieving coaches better be careful. Now, if only men's hoops can turn it around.
Could you please tell me what the weather will like? Temperature? Rain? Shine? Wind speed? What color uniforms Cal will be wearing? Exact ending time of the game? Final score? Potential injuries? Rushing and passing yards?
.... Or should I just wait for this weeks' Q&A to ask this?
Good, an early kickoff. I can be drunk by 7. I'll try and focus at 9 to read the blog for a recap.

Anyone have parking/transportation tips for games @ Cal? I'm a memorial stadium rookie.
UB and I have been up there many times for games. The best bet is to park near the bottom of the campus near the "downtown" Berkeley. There are a couple of parking structures down there and it is easier to get out when the game is done. You'll have to walk the uphill campus to the stadium for about 3/4 of a mile, but it is worth it. You don't have to fight traffic after the game as much.
Are you gonna go to Bruin Bash?
I've been thinking about it, but due to the 12:30 kickoff and the growing size of our group, I doubt it. We're just not that organized.

HomeBru, if your group isn't hitting the Bash, I'd recommend a stop in Henry's Pub on Durant for a drink or several. It is obviously a Cal bar and it does get packed although they do open up their patio. Several TV monitors in the bar area are nice as well. I've worn my UCLA gear in there several times and have never been hassled. Also, build in time for getting to your seat...the Memorial Stadium concourse and walkways are as cramped as they come. Once you're in your seat, the sight lines are solid. Have fun and go Bruins.
Nothing wrong with being hassled. I like being hassled by opposing fans.
