I'm sorry I have to complain. YOU RANKED DUKE IN FRONT OF UCLA? MICHIGAN STATE? LOL

I look forward to seeing all the Bruin fans chime in about how anti-UCLA Brian is in 3..2..1...

All and all, I like Brian's poll. I do have to agree with VB in that there is no way Duke is better than us. I just think of the match-up that may come from the benefit tourney and I cannot see Duke (a transitional perimeter, 3pt team with a weak middle) beating us. That can be broken down to saying that their front court will handle D-Col, Jrue, and Shipp...uhhh, I don't think so. Did I mention that maybe, just maybe, we play better team defense.

Media always has us ranked too low, no surprises here. And they love Dook.

Banners aren't hung for pre-season polls. Its how you finish that matters. Go Bruins!

I disagree with UCLA being 7th. In my biased opinion, we are a top-5 squad. However, the ranking does not rile me as much because in basketball we control our own destiny. We are as good as we play. Whereas in football, your fate is pretty much decided from birth. Ask Penn State how they'll feel if they go undefeated along with Texas and Alabama.

#7 nationally but #1 in the Pac 10 should earn us the #1 spot out West in March. I'm cool with that. You have us above Memphis State which makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. Can't stand the slimey Calamari guy.

LOUISVILLE? Please. They and DUKE CHOKE EVERY year. They are notorious for exiting the tourney early. My only surprise, considering how badly Brian votes most of the time, is that Rutgers isn't up there. Seriously Dohnster, UCLA #7, a team that most people have in the Final Four this year. You know better than us that you should NEVER under estimate a BH led team. Of the 6 teams you have listed above us, I really only agree with NC and maybe Texas. The rest? NO WAY!!!!

Only team that should be ranked ahead of UCLA is UNC.

Duke? Please. Michigan St.? Huh? UConn? No. Texas? Nah.

None of those teams have the quality experienced players that UCLA is returning (Collison, Shipp, Keefe, Aboya).

None of those teams have the talent of UCLA's freshman class.

None of those teams has a coach the caliber of Howland.

Experience. Talent. Coaching. Am I missing something here?

Dohn just doesn't get it!

Jesus, Dohn - you act like you get paid to watch college sports or something...

The nerve of you to give your opinion when you probably know much more about these teams than 99% of your readers.

I really expected much more from you. We're clearly the best team in the world and clearly have the best players with oodles of experience.

North Carolina? Connecticut? Duke? Texas? I've never even HEARD of these schools.

I just want you to know that from now on, I'm only here to read the comments from these posters that clearly know much more than you.
