Post-practice goodies

The biggest development in practice today was red-shirt freshman Chris Forcier taking snaps as the backup quarterback.
Also, there was more juggling on the offensive line as Nick Ekbatani played right guard and Micah Kia was at right tackle.
Defensive end Chase Moline injured his back lifting weights in the morning, so his status is uncertain. Also, even if Terrence Austin can play Saturday against Stanford, he will not return punts or kickoffs. Ryan Graves will handles those duties, Bruins coach Rick Neuheisel said.

Brian, how intense was the SS battle, and who's ahead?

So can we infer that Terrence Austin will be playing wide receiver this Saturday? Also, how did Marcus Everett look?

A blind person could see that Craft is not the quarterback we need to compete at the next level (above zero). It is time for RN to recognize that and give other QBs a shot. We need to look to the future. And I don't mean Ben! Let's give some of the others a look now!

Forcier had an opportunity in the wasu game

Brehaut will get the starting gig next year around the 4th game(guess). It is imperative that UCLA get started with their QB of the future ASAP.

I say we stay the course with Craft for the remainder of this season. He has earned it and deserves to finish the year. Then we start with Brehaut next year and hopefully have him for 4 full years. No point in putting in Forcier and Prince and this point in the season. They are going to be passed up by Brehaut next year anyway.

That is too bad about Chane Moline's back injury. Who will play fullback now?

I wholeheartedly agree with VB. I think the UCLA Bruins should stay the course with Craft for the remainder of this season. You have to stay the course, if not, your enemy will win. Just look at how good the Surge is working. We are winning.

Just so long as I do not get the blame for his silly comments.

I do not know anyone by the name of Only the Truth. Sorry, nice try. Your outlandish assertion is not supported by the facts, and would not be admissible in a court of law. Good day, Sir.

Wow start a true freshman at QB, that means next year will be a throw away season. He will take a beating with the OL.
