UCLA defensive coordinator DeWayne Walker said he does not expect his defensive players to point the finger at the offense as the reason for this season’s woes.
“That’s one thing we’re not going to tolerate,” Walker said. “We’re not going to point fingers. It’s not like we’re the ’85 Bears, either. We’ve got to keep worrying about ourselves, too. That’s something we have to keep harping on.
“Is it frustrating? Sure, but we’re here to teach. It’s football, we’ll go back and watch the tape again and try to clean up some of our own mistakes.”
