One thing I’m hearing on the head coaching job front is Wyoming and New Mexico both are interested in hiring a coach with an offensive background, which would make it difficult for UCLA defensive coordinator DeWayne Walker to get either spot.
However, a few of my sources said Walker will be in the mix at San Diego State, if he wants to be, and also will be involved with the opening at Utah State.
