Here is the third installment:

UCLA has a new women's basketball coach this season (Nikki Caldwell from Tennessee). If the women's team starts getting better, can we expect more coverage of them? Who decides which teams to cover, you or your editors?
My editors decide whether women's hoops deserves more coverage. And unless the team is tremendous, and the interest from readers is high, the coverage will remain the same.

Hey Brian, nice name, I heard there is talk of moving the cameras, or student section, to the other side of the court so the TV cameras face the Student Section. Any info on this?
To do that would take a restructuring of many things at Pauley. Perhaps if the building is ever renovated it would happen, but I don't see it being the case until then.

If Craft stinks again on Saturday, does Olson start the ASU & USC games?
If Olson is healthy, I think there is a very good chance he plays against Arizona State. But again, he needs to be healthy.

Assume Dean comes back. Between Coleman, Ramirez, Knox, Dean, Carter, and Franklin, which two tailbacks get the most PT next season?
I will split it between three backs, but the order would change from early in the season to late in the season after experience is gained. But right now I would put it at Knox, Dean and Franklin.

I'm going to graduate from high school in June, which school has the hottest girls?
I'm a married man with two kids and old enough to be the father of those kids, how would I know? But, a little birdie told me Arizona State wouldn't be a bad choice. Me, I would choose a girl from Jersey, like I did with my lovely bride.

Do you know who else made schollie offers to Braden Warner? If yes, which schools?
He says Washington State, and there is also talk Florida offered and LSU is close to offering, but I have not been able to confirm those schools.

When you're on the Cornelia Marie, will you grow a stache ala Joe Cowan or a mullett?
No 'stache because I don't want all my puke to get caught in it.

Do you know why high school football and basketball players sign letters of intent at different times of year?
Other than that is the way the NCAA legislates it, no, I don't.

Brian do you think you can catch a pass over Michael Norris? Why does he still start?
I'm 6-foot-3 with jersey toughness. You tell me. ...And he still starts because he remains the second-best cornerback, as of today, on UCLA's roster. It is the same reason why Kevin Craft starts; he is the best quarterback available.

Thank you for you excellent coverage and comments on UCLA football.

I'm not convinced Craft is the best QB available. I hope Rasshan gets a medical redshirt and attempts to overthrow Craft in the Spring. Im no hater, but it looks like Craft may try to leave like Mac Bethel-Thompson did. It's gotta be hard walking around campus with people looking at you like you should be playing on an intermural sqwad.

About Inside UCLA

This is Brian Dohn's sixth season covering UCLA after spending 4 1/2 years covering the Dodgers for the Daily News and other Los Angeles Newspaper Group papers. He graduated from Rutgers, where the first college football game was played in 1869. Sure, the Scarlet Knights suffered for a long time, but now RU is doing what Jerseyans always thought was possible. Winning at Rutgers also proves winning is possible everywhere else in the nation, so underachieving coaches better be careful. Now, if only men's hoops can turn it around.
