Here is the seventh set of answers:

Brian, in junior football when you were playing the D line, did you ever break down the sealer block by the tight end/fullback and tackle the tailback for a loss?
I was unstoppable, but the dang star system killed me so I wasn't recruited for junior high school. I was wronged!!!

What's the deal with James Keefe? Was he a bad evaluation or just not that talented and overrated out of HS?
He is what he is. He will play hard and rebound, get a few chippies around the basket and make an occasional jump shot. I never thought he was an NBA guy.

Would it be possible to color code your content (football one color - basketball another) or put your football type questions in one grouping and your basketball type questions in another.
I'm sure it would be possible, but I'm not going to take the time to do it. I figure the four or five hours I spent answering questions are enough.

how does a player get to be a walk-on for the B Ball team? How did Coach Wooden's great grandson get on the roster?
There are tryouts and players are also invited to walk-on. As for coach Wooden's great grandson, I don't think there was much debate when it was brought up whether or not he would be able to walk-on.

Do you have open access to interview all UCLA basketball players or are there restrictions. For example - only on Fridays. After games for 15 minutes. Etc ...
There is extreme access limitations on players. Mostly, it is Tuesday's after Ben Howland's press conferences, and players are available for 10 minutes or so, although many of them do not show up on a weekly basis. The only other "regular'' access is for 10 or 15 minutes after games.

Do you see any significant chance that Dragovic supplants Keefe at the power forward position, particularly if Keefe continues to struggle?
No. Keefe will still play better defense and rebound better, which always takes precedent for coach Ben Howland.

In your opinion, is Honeycutt good enough to start at the 3 right away next year since Shipp leaves and Jrue more than likely leaves early making Lee the starting 2 guard (probably)?
Honeycutt is good enough to start next season.

Captain Keith would never have let Tevaga back abourd the Wizard. is CRN too much of a folk guitar playing softie for bigtime college football?
No, because what Tevaga did wasn't egregious to the point he should be kicked off the team.

Devils beatable
Trojans a rivalry game
Chance to go bowling?
Agree on ASU
Trojans crush dreamin' Bruins
Home for holidays

What kind of award will Craft get once he breaks the UCLA record for interceptions? Prediction for what qtr he will break? He will tie at ASU, and break in first qtr of USC game.
Instead of a golden football, maybe he gets a trophy with a deflated football. Not sure that will be given out at the banquet, though. And I say it happens in the second quarter against USC.

Could you imagine if Oregon defenders caught all those balls that KC threw right at them? He could have at least 20 INTs by now

Brian, instead of color coding your posts, maybe have "TAGS" like most blogs do so users can easily find articles on a specific sport. Maybe it's something your IT guys can look into? Thanks for running a great blog.

Perhaps folks aksing the question could start their question with a (FB) or a (BB)

Regarding Tyler Trapani, the walk-on who's Coach Wooden's great-grandson. I haven't seen him play, so I can't comment on his skills, but I will point out that he wasn't recruited.

That said, I understand that he didn't make his lineage known until *after* he had been offered the walk-on slot. Knowing Trapani's great-grandfather as we all do, Coach should be even more proud that the young man wanted to earn it for himself, not for his bloodline.
