Here is the notebook I wrote for today's paper, which updates on QB Kevin Craft's progress and on the offensive line situation because of the injury to LG Darius Savage.
Two other things I thought were worth mentioning:
The 135 yards UCLA's defense allowed were the fewest since the Bruins yielded 42 in the 1989 Cotton Bowl against Arkansas.
Remembering many of these players are still kids, when I talked to Savage after the game, he said he needed to call his mom because she left him a few voice mails during game because she was concerned about his injury.

Terrible news regarding Savage. I certainly hope Tevaga is NOT the answer. If anyone paid attention to the OSU game it looked like Sonny was wearing concrete shoes. A scholarship athlete at a D1 school has to be better then that.
