Kudos to OSU

Lack of execution wasn't a a big theme for UCLA's offense after the game. Instead, some players talked about Oregon State's defense, and its talent.
"They're a good team up front, their linebackers do a good job. They really run to the ball," Bruins QB Kevin Craft said. "They've got some really good corners. They're a good team. Like I said, they're really good up front, and you could see that in our game plan. We tried to hit them quick, with some quick passing and some quick runs. You could see what we were up against."

The sad part about this article is that OSU's weakness was supposed to be their defense. THey replaced their entire front line and LB corp, and they still owned the Bruin offense. There was one play where UCLA had the ball, first down, on their own 6 yard line. Craft handed off to Bell at the one yd line and a handful of Beavs where there to meet him 5 YARDS BEHIND THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE! What a disaster.

I'm sorry, but it is disappointing that anyone would give kudos to Oregon State's defense in excuse for a dismal offensive performance. Our offense makes every defensive units look good, so I guess now we just commend the defense. The truth is that we can't move anyone out of the box, nor do we have the threats to spread the defense. Hopefully we will improve.
