SC loses at OSU and TT at OU and they drop below them??
So what happens when Alabama loses to Florida? I dont think any of the previous top 5 teams (in your poll)drops below SC until they lose 2 games. They just cant given the quality wins and depth of schedule. You are pretty much comparing apples to apples.
They are all 1 loss teams. TT loss was bad, but they beat #1 Texas and Ok state impressively. SC is getting hosed by a weak schedule, but that is the way it goes.
Where the hell is UCLA in this ranking?
For the anonymous idiot above, USC lost by 6 points, Texas Tech lost by a million.

Manuel, thanks for your classy post, I know where you got your degree, if at all. Did you watch the game? SC got beat worse than 6 pts and was embarassed by an unheralded unranked team, not by a top notch team.
You trail a game by 50 points, against anybody, anywhere, any time, you don't belong in the top ten.
So Bruin, 27 to 21 is not a 6 point difference? I'm the one who wonders if you have a degree.

SUC lost to Oregon State (a team that was killed by Penn State and also lost to Stanford). Tech lost to OU, whose only other loss was to #2 Texas. Still think SUC should be ahead of Tech?
Then you'll say that Tech got its butt kicked, and it did. Tech got its butt kicked by a team that has some of the best players in the entire country. OU kills almost every single team it plays. SUC lost to boy-wonder Jacquizz Rodgers. Also dropped a whopping 17 points on Cal (at home) and Arizona with a team full of All-Americans. Its not how many lost, its who you lost to and who should never have been on the same field as you.
So seriously, stop being an idiot, SUC does not deserve to go to the NC game no matter how you spin it.
