Olson update

UCLA QB Ben Olson told me the latest x-ray on his foot showed the break had healed. He is hopeful of taking reps this week in practice (probably with the scout team) but said he will pay close attention to his body as he tries to return for the last month of the season.

(Hoops) If Snaer doe not choose UCLA, will UCLA offer a scholarship to any other guards?

Bell is a mediocre running back. Why doesn't Andre Dean get any playing time?

Based on the previous comments, I just have to ask:

What's the average air speed velocity of an African swallow?

How many purple elephants can fit on the head of a pin?

and finally:

(Hoops) What's the record for using a Hula Hoop?

I realize my comments might not have been completely on topic, so let me ask these much more relevant questions:

Is Ben Olson related to the Olsen twins?

(Hoops) What size hoop earrings do the Olsen twins wear?

It sounds like Olson is worried about getting hurt again. Does that sound like someone who is ready to give his all for a Bruin victory? Is he tough enough to play hard at this level?

Any player at the college level is tough enough to play the game, all the high school weaklings having been weeded out; the question is whether Olson's body is too fragile to play football.

But if he can get on the field in the final month why not take your chances. It would give Chow an option to Craft.

This can still be a successful season with a victory over SC. Still not convinced of SC's offense, so a stellar ucla defensive performance, say holding the Trojans to under-20, and it could happen.
