On Aboya

| | Comments (7) |

Alfred Aboya picked up two fouls inside the first three minutes of Monday's exhibition game.
Aboya is one of the hardest-working players Ben Howland has ever coached, but that intensity has always led to foul trouble.
``Oh man, that has to stop,'' Darren Collison said. ``BoBo looked a little winded out there. He was playing more than usual. We need (Aboya) with how hard he plays. If he's in the ballgame, a lot of good things will happen. We need him to stay out of foul trouble. He understands, he's a senior. I'm pretty sure that will kill him tonight.''

Nothing against Jill but Brian remember this is a basketball school and basketball comes before football on this campus.

When they conflict, I know I prefer seeing the main man at the basketball not the football.

Got word earlier today that defensive end Keenan Graham of Las Vegas Silverado High gave a non-binding oral commitment to UCLA. I will have more later.

2. Leave Jill alone! It is only an exhibition game, for Pete's sake! I'm sure BD will be at most of the BB games this year. I think her reporting was fine for this greuling contest against the Little Sisters of the Poor

3. Bobo and Gordon will get a lot of PT this year. First, because Aboya will need someone to spell him. Second, because he wil get in foul trouble at times. Third, and most importantly, we will need them at the 5 spot come March. So, look for a lot of PT early on for those two.
