Player suspensions
UCLA coach Rick Neuheisel announced after practice that backup offensive linemen Micah Reed and Scott Glicksberg and backup defensive tackle Jess Ward were suspended for Saturday's game for a violation of athletic department policy.
They are one-game suspensions and they will be eligible to play Nov. 15 at Washington.
Brian, do you think this had something to do with coach Neuheisel announcing that Savage would replace Reed on the o-line YESTERDAY?
If i remember correct, this is Jess ward's second suspension while at UCLA. He and John Hale were suspended very early in their careers, no?
