Practice update
There was a scary moment at practice when Korey Bosworth didn't get up after a collision and sustained a lower back contusion but, he's expected to return to practice today. He got stepped on, too. He stayed down because he felt a sharp pain and got the wind knocked out of him. Trainers held him out the rest of practice. He was walking fine after practice. Micah Kia was working at guard today and Rick Neuheisel thought he played well there from what he saw. The two scout teams played each other near the end of practice. Chinonso Anyanwu, who has been diagnosed with Crohn's disease, was undergoing more tests Wednesday. Steve Sloan and Patrick Larimore missed practice because of a math placement test. Cory Harkey missed practice with strep throat. Darius Savage was at practice with his left ankle in a cast and was on crutches after having successful ankle surgery. He's expected to miss 6-8 weeks before he gets back to the offseason program. Brian Price didn't practice today either but is still expected to play next week.
