Readying for U-dub
Get ready to read about Rick Neuheisel's return to Washington this week, and the re-hashing of what transpired there a few years back.
So Sunday I asked Neuheisel about it, and here is what he said:
"I have truthfully not thought about it for a long time," Neuheisel said. "Now that it is here, I'm forced to think about it and I'm excited about having a chance to play again, but I want, as much as possible, for the focus to be on the game and to be on the kids that are playing in the game.
"What happened between Washington and I is water under the bridge. It has come and gone and hopefully both sides learn lessons and I think both sides and certainly both programs are pointing to the future and I think it is just better to leave it at that."

If Coach Neu got a reported $4.5 million in settlement money from Washington, then that is a lot of water (and money) under the bridge. No wonder he is in a forgiving mood.
