Savage update

I spoke to injured UCLA offensive lineman Darius Savage, who underwent surgery to repair a torn ligament in his ankle. He said he believed he would be ready for spring football practice, but the injury will keep him from participating in the shotput and the discus during the winter season.
Savage said he would participate in the track and field in the spring, but balance it with football.
