USC-UCLA a hot ticket?

Got tickets for the USC-UCLA game at the Rose Bowl on Dec. 6? According to stubhub.com's listing for tickets that have been sold on their Web site, some have sold for just $55 but the average sold price is still $176.

I think it is a luke warm ticket, thus far. I think most fans, both usc and ucla, think it will not be a good game. Very little buzz, and I have four extra tickets, but people aren't that interested.

If ucla beats asu, then demand will increase. Unfortunately, the way it stands now, probably most will be usc fans.

Funny thing in that this game will really mean nothing. Oregon St. is gonna go to the Rose Bowl this year.

I love how people just assume that teams on streaks automatically win. Oregon State is facing one of their toughest opponents in Oregon, not to mention the Ducks being their arch-rival. If recent history matters at all, SUC takes care of their business, and other teams just happen to lose at the worst times, letting the toejams back into the BCS. Sadly, I just don't see Oregon State beating Oregon, even if it is at home. I pray that the Beavers come out on top, eliminating SUC from the Rose Bowl, but I just know that its VERY far from a foregone conclusion. Anybody who thinks otherwise is delusional.

I'll be rooting on my bruins for their final two games. I know I'll be there in our student section, going nuts, regardless of the score on December 6th.

Anyone buying at this point is surely a Trojans fan...expect lots of red in the Rose Bowl Dec. 6. Let's see what happens in 2010 once coach Ricky gets this thing turned around

Well, it won't be the first time this year that the color red will dominate the Rose Bowl.

The game may not mean anything to Oregon State but USC's streak of appearing in BCS bowl games will probably be on the line. Winning-out would probably get them in the Fiesta or Sugar Bowl instead of the Holiday. That's kind of a big deal.

Hell, it's extremely unlikely but a few upsets in either the SEC or Big 12 and an appearance in the BCS Championship Game could be on the line for the Trojans.

Regardless, does anyone here think the game is meaningless to one of the UCLA football players or a true UCLA fan?
