Two sets of answers today, plus coverage from the game. Here is the 20th overall set of answers:

After watching Darren Collison have the ball slip out of his hands for a backcourt violation in the Texas game, I'm going to ask you one more time if you're seeing this trend...
What trend is that? Collison played a lot of minutes against a very good team and did turn the ball over too many times (6), but there are other things involved with ball-handling. I'm not sure who you would rather have at this time, but if it is Jrue Holiday, I don't think he is ready to be UCLA's primary ball-handler.

Why no chat during the Texas game?
I had some technical problems with the internet at the game. Sorry about that, but I will try to do it for all other games.

I agree with the above poster...why does Collison appear to be asleep at the switch half the time on offense?
Collison doesn't have the best vision, but it's not as if he's a brutal point guard. And from my understanding, against Texas his problems were more on the defensive end than on the offensive end.

You have unfortunately just found out that your life depends on James Keefe hitting a put back layup off an offensive rebound. What are your last words?
Wife and kids, I love you. Go RU!

What should UCLA take away from the Texas hoops game?
That is can compete and maintain composed against a good team in a hostile setting, that it needs to stop having brutal mental breakdowns on defense and it needs to develop some type of offense other than someone dribbling at the top and taking a difficult shot late in the shot clock.

To raise a family, how do you rank them and why? Bergen County, Westchester, or Fairfield County? (Please offer your thoughts without the bias of having grown up in Jersey.)
Westchester County is my pick. Diverse, close to New York City, has some very pretty areas and easy to get to a lot of places.

Do you still see UCLA as the favorite to win the Pac-10 in basketball?
Yes. Nothing has happened around the Pac-10 to make me think otherwise. It is not as if the Pac-10 is setting the world on fire with its non-conference results.

Is Howland's favorite investment a hedge fund?
Oh, that is rich. I really like that.

Does the new motion offense consist of 4 guys standing around and watching Collison dribble?
No, that's the old motion offense. I'm waiting to see the new motion offense.

all over the country, you see freshman playing huge roles at some schools. at ucla, the freshmen for the most part play like freshman. kevin love obviously is an exception. but in football and basketball they struggle a lot. why do you think this is?
I'm not sure I agree with you about the freshmen all over the country. The think about watching UCLA closely is you get to see the warts of the program because you watch it so much. There is a very small percentage of freshmen around the country making impacts, but that is so far the exception rather than the rule.
