Five Bruins named Pac-10 first teamers

Senior defensive tackle Brigham Harwell and junior cornerback Alterraun Verner were named first-team All-Pacific-10 Conference by Phil Steele’s College Football Annuals. Also named to the first team were sophomore place kicker Kai Forbath, senior punter Aaron Perez and junior kick returner Terrence Austin.

Five Bruins have been selected first-team All-Pacific-10 Conference by Phil Steele’s College Football Annuals.

Senior defensive tackle Brigham Harwell and junior cornerback Alterraun Verner made the first team along with sophomore place kicker Kai Forbath, senior punter Aaron Perez and junior kick returner Terrence Austin.

UCLA was one of five schools to have two players selected on the first-team defense.

Linebacker Reggie Carter and defensive end Korey Bosworth, both juniors, were second-team selections while sophomore defensive tackle Brian Price and Austin, a junior wide receiver, were named to the third team.
