Texas leads UCLA 38-29 at the half. The Longhorns are getting plenty of points off penetration and cuts to the basket and are shooting 50 percent in the half and the Bruins have no answer for A.J. Abrams, who has 16 points.
UCLA coach Ben Howland wanted PG Darren Collison to shoot more, and he is. He is 6 of 12 from the field and has 13 points.
