UCLA men's basketball coach Ben Howland met with the media today, ahead of Thursday's game at Texas.
"They're a much more defensive team in getting out in pressuring," Howland said. "Their defense is way different than in the past."
Howland added Josh Shipp would guard 6-7 Damion James, who is averaging 14.5 ppg and 8.0 rpg.
He also added Texas could "be right there at the end of the year" and he expected them to win the Big 12.

James owned us last year. JS better be ready to step it up big time.

This is where we could have used a guy Luc. Shipp is an average defender at best.
