Neuheisel reaction
Here is a statement from UCLA coach Rick Neuheisel about USC coach Pete Carroll saying he will take the penalty of one timeout a half so USC and UCLA can both where their home jerseys in Saturday's game.
"It's exciting," Neuheisel said. "I think wearing the home jerseys is a great tradition."
Keep in mind this announcement came after access to the players and coaches today, so there will be more on this after Tuesday's practice.

Awesome!
It's good to see Neuheisel recognizes and respects the rivalry and it's traditions in ways that Karl Dorrrell never did.
Are you going to start bashing Lavin next? It just might be about time to get over it...
I was just watching Fox Gauntlet Live right now, and Pete Carroll was on their and he said that "the offer would be out there" for UCLA to do the same thing next year. But it sounds to me, based on his tone and reasoning, that it was NOT joined decision between him and Neuheisel....to me it sounded like it was his own doing.
Lavin was a stud, he deserved better from the fans.
So did Dorrell.
Thanks for "leveling" the playing field Pete! I'm being semi-sarcastic of course. I doubt our team could beat 'SC even if they spotted us the 30 point spread this year. It's a nice gesture, but it'd be crazy for Pete to expect it in return next year when we're no where good enough. It's like asking the poor to give to the rich.
I hope we stay competitive Saturday and the program turns around in the near future.
GO BRUINS!
i guess to do it on his own is kind of a cocky way of saying, we don't need a time out.
suc's offense sucks. Sanchez is overrated. UCLA can hold them to a game defensively. It's Kevin Craft I'm worried about. Actually I'm not worried at all. I'll be sitting back wondering when he's going to give the game away. Yeah it's a harsh way to go about it. But every Bruin fan has grown to expect that. I wholeheartedly hope to get proved wrong and has a game to remember for a lifetime.
I don't think it's fair to put it all on Kevin Craft, it's hard to throw a good pass when you only have a half-second before getting knocked down.
Give some "credit" to the offensive line.
