Phillip visit
I'm hearing UCLA offensive coordinator Norm Chow had an in-home visit offensive lineman Michael Phillip of Arroyo Valley of San Bernardino on Sunday. Also heard Stanford was there.

About Inside UCLA
This is Brian Dohn's sixth season covering UCLA after spending 4 1/2 years covering the Dodgers for the Daily News and other Los Angeles Newspaper Group papers. He graduated from Rutgers, where the first college football game was played in 1869. Sure, the Scarlet Knights suffered for a long time, but now RU is doing what Jerseyans always thought was possible. Winning at Rutgers also proves winning is possible everywhere else in the nation, so underachieving coaches better be careful. Now, if only men's hoops can turn it around.About this Entry

Any word on how the in-home visit with Marlon Pollard went?
What recruits will be on their official visits this weekend at UCLA?
Brian, does this mean that both schools had representatives there at the same time? Isn't that akward? Is it like having a Mercedes and BMW dealer both talking to the same potential customer at the same time?
Maybe not Bailey, Chow was reportedly recruiting for Stanford when he was still employed at SC
I remember when Darrel Scott, last year, had representatives from Texas at his house while he told Coach Neu and Coach Walker to come over. Coach Neu and Coach Walk took it as a sign of disrespect and stopped recruiting him. Hopefully Phillip didnt tell them to come at the same time, that would be weird.
Now, that was funny. I needed that. ...Um, I guess it should be worded that Stanford was there earlier in the day.
Got it, thanks Brian!
With Stanford AND UCLA visiting at the same time it would be less like a MB and BMW dealer talking at the same time and more like a Saab and Volvo dealer talking to the same customer....both smart cars but cars that no one really wants nonetheless....
