Press conference tidbits

UCLA coach Rick Neuheisel met with the media to speak about the game with USC, and I will have the audio up in a little while.
However, among the topics hit were UCLA's overwhelming status as underdogs, and gave the anything-is-possible response.
He also talked about how much toughness QB Kevin Craft has shown this season, both physically and mentally. He also said the problem is Craft is throwing too many interceptions, and there is no way around it.
"Football 101 says you cannot throw it to the other team," Neuheisel said.

Neu obviously took KD's Football 101 primer. No wonder Brian feels such a connection with him.

Even though we are probably going to get obliterated, I am still going to camp out the night before and cheer loud from the first kick to the final whistle. I'm not going to wimp out like so many Bruin fans do this time of year. Selling my tickets to Trojan fans would make me less of a fan. Rest assured, the UBTA will be there, loud and PROUD!

GO BRUINS!
BEAT THE CRIMINALS/CHEATERS/MORONS ACROSS TOWN!

Boss

You going to pick some of my choice buds to make the pain of the blowout easier to deal with?

VB said:

VB doesn't need no drugs to deal with football blowouts. All I need is to keep in mind that basketball season is nye, and football will be good someday.

YOU BRUINS BETTER SHOW UP ON SATURDAY!!!!!!!!

About Inside UCLA

This is Brian Dohn's sixth season covering UCLA after spending 4 1/2 years covering the Dodgers for the Daily News and other Los Angeles Newspaper Group papers. He graduated from Rutgers, where the first college football game was played in 1869. Sure, the Scarlet Knights suffered for a long time, but now RU is doing what Jerseyans always thought was possible. Winning at Rutgers also proves winning is possible everywhere else in the nation, so underachieving coaches better be careful. Now, if only men's hoops can turn it around.
