When I talked to UCLA’s newest commit (at least, publicly), Long Beach Poly High safety Stanjarivus McKay, he said it was a no-brainer to commit to UCLA over the weekend.
“It’s my dream school,” he said. “Once they offered, I knew I was going to go there. I always liked UCLA. I grew up watching them.”
As for his first name, he said he goes by “Stan,” and the “jarivus” is part of his family history in which several relatives have it in their names.
