On the visits
Nothing yet on commitments from the football visitors, but Long Beach Poly defensive end Iuta Tepa and Stonewall Jackson (Manassas, Va.) running back Damien Thigpen were at the basketball game.
I know UCLA coach Rick Neuheisel is supposed to meet with Tepa tonight.
Not surprisingly, I was told both are having a great time. I will let everyone know if either one commits, but so far it has not happened.

Virginia newpaper is reportin that Lane Kiffin has told Damien Thigpen that he does not fit in the Vols plans. Could be good for the Bruins, assuming he doesn't pick ND!

Brent - excuse me? This is a LAME KIFFIN mistake, not a Tennessee reject! Do you need me to tell you LAME Kiffin's failures as a head coach? This Kid is a 4-Star RB. He was injured his senior year, and in only 5 games had 123 carries, 806 yards and scored 16 Touch Downs. Let me break that down for you - that's 6.5 yards per carry and 3.2 TDs per game. He is Nationally Ranked in Track, runs a 4.34 40, and in 10th Grade had the fastest 300 meter hurdle time in the state of Virginia! Wake up Brent - Lame Kiffin was a bad NFL coach, he'll be a bad college coach, and wouldn't recognize talent if he was at a UCLA Sorority Party! I am excited about a talented prospect - you should get your facts straight before calling the Speedster Damien Thigpen a reject...
