The message from UCLA coach Ben Howland and the Bruins after the loss to Washington State (it was Wazzu’s second win in 53 games at UCLA) was UCLA needs to learn how to play with urgency and not blow so many defensive assignments.
Also, Bruins coach Ben Howland said he played Malcolm Lee ahead of Jrue Holiday in the second half because Lee was playing better defense.
And, Holiday said it was the right move.
