UCLA upset by Washington State

UCLA’s frantic rally at the end fell short when Josh Shipp’s halfcourt shot at the buzzer was blocked in an 82-81 loss to Washington State.
The Cougars shot 58.8 percent from the field, led by Taylor Rochestie’s 33 points. Darren Collison had 20 points for UCLA.

can you please tell shipp to practice his layups

Oh well. They can’t live in the glory of their HS days forever. Time to wake up or we’ll be out by the second round.

Every shot and ball bounce went WSU’s way today…we better get going or LIGHTS OUT….for UCLA

Please start Malcolm Lee over Jrue Holiday. Lee is always intense and assertive, and Holiday has recently looked like a zombie on the court. Unless he is simply playing bad because he hates it at UCLA, there is no way he is ready for the pros.

can’t count the number of times i’ve heard the words freshman mistake in the same sentence as Malcolm Lee during broadcasts. bh is a better judge of who should play than we are. we are just not true ucla caliber this year, we can’t reload, we had to rebuild. count this and next as the rebuilding yrs, we’re elite eight with extreme luck, while wr2qjtalent-wise we are sweet 16.

How can we let one guy score the last 15 points for WSU? Where is our shut down defense?

This aint our year! You could smell a loss to the Cougs from the tipoff. How well the Bruins will do in the NCAA tournament will be determined by how well they play at CAL. Lose that game and we could be out the first or second round.

Aboya and Dragovic are overachieving. The rest of the team is unperforming. Howland is getting outcoached a lot.
