UCLA coach Ben Howland was talking about his team’s 9-5 conference mark, and about losing to Washington State last week after beating Washington two days earlier.
“The margin of error is very, very slight,” Howland said. “So we have to be at our best, which I thought we were on Thursday, that’s what makes it all the more disappointing.”
