Now that it is out, I will let everyone know Cathedral High receiver Randall Carroll is going to UCLA. I was told in confidence, and was asked to wait until word leaked out or it was announced on television.

What a day to be a Bruin.
Carroll and Pressley are going to know for the rest of their lives that they made the right decision. I cant wait to compete with SC for Pac 10 titles in the next few years. Its an exciting day in Westwood.

Wow...they chose to take the easy road rather than complete with the best. Good luck to both of them in the 6th and 7th rounds of the NFL draft; this is, if they're even invited...

Great job keeping us up to date with accurate info. Also, great job by Rick N and staff on closing. I was dead wrong. I posted there is no way Rick would be able to land a top OL and he got 2. Rick was unable to do it at WA and CO and he left those teams with OL's similar to what we had this year.
I feel Dorrel may have given up on guys like Te's, Xman, Hassik but Rick charged and it paid off.
Great day for Ucla football. There have not been many great days in Ucla football recently.
When is Roma gone? Glad we are going to save that spot for somebody who might see the field in the future.

Must admit, I'm really impressed with your integrity to hold this and allow the young men making these choices their moments on television.
Shame the LA Times had to ruin this for Randall. Still looking forward to the presser, of course. Good news is always fun to hear.
I suppose if SUC is what really gets a guy into the NFL then that definitely explains the reason they have so many busts.

According to Scout.com Reeves Nelson was involved in a car accident that was related to alcohol. The report says he has been suspended from his high school.

Wow!! A great day for recruiting and what a great effort in recruiting by CRN and staff. Just tremendous effort to get XSF and Big Stan along with Pres and RC and the rest of a strong class.

I wish the formal announcement would hurry up. I want UCLA to get the press coverage! LA Times says UCLA got up to #7 on Scout after the Carroll signing - but that was before.
They are still showing Carroll to USC as a soft verbal.
