I spoke with Hebron High of Lewisville, Texas, offensive lineman Joel Gray tonight and he said he is going to sign Wednesday with Texas Tech.
UCLA was recruiting him hard, but he said his long-term relationship with Texas Tech's staff was the deciding factor.

Will we ever learn. Year after year of being ever so close to signing those recruits that are sitting on the fence waiting to fall over to one side or the other. We hardly ever win these battles yet we get sucked up in that recruiting vacuum. I wonder if we will get skunked come signing day as it sure wouldn't be a shocker if that were to happen.
