UCLA’s release on Wooden being hospitalized

Here is the release from UCLA about former coach John Wooden being hospitalized:

JOHN WOODEN IN FINAL STAGES OF RECOVERY FROM PNEUMONIA

Legendary UCLA basketball coach John Wooden, 98, is in the final stages of recovery from a case of pneumonia at a local hospital, where he has been since February 13. He is resting comfortably and is expected to make a full recovery.
“My father is doing well,” said Nan Muehlhausen, Coach Wooden’s daughter. “His lungs are clear and he has been eating well. We expect him to be released soon.”
Coach Wooden’s family is asking that people not call or come to the hospital so Coach Wooden can rest. They are also requesting that media and others not call family members for updates and that fans refrain from sending mail to Coach Wooden at this time.

UCLA confirms Wooden report

UCLA spokesman Marc Dellins just confirmed what I reported, that former basketball coach John Wooden was hospitalized with pnuemonia. Dellins said Wooden was admitted Feb. 13, but could be released shortly.
Wooden’s lungs do not have fluid in them, and he is eating and resting well, Dellins added.
“He’s resting comfortably and is in the final stages of recovery and there’s a chance he could be released soon,” Dellins said.
