UCLA rallies for win
No. 22 UCLA rebounded from a 14-point first-half deficit to beat Stanford 76-71 Thursday at Maples Pavilion, ending a three-game road losing streak.
The Cardinal started the game making 10 of 11 shots from the field, but UCLA limited Stanford to 14 of 38 from the field the rest of the way.
Josh Shipp paced UCLA (21-7, 10-5 Pac-10) with 24 points and Alfred Aboya added 16.
UCLA surprised at half
Stanford made 10 of its first 11 shots from the field to lead by as many as 14 points in the first half before UCLA rallied to close within 38-37 at the break.,
Josh Shipp has 14 points for the Bruins.
