Just got word that UCLA backup power forward James Keefe may not play tonight because of back spasms. Word is he hurt his back during the morning shootaround and it did not respond well to treatment.

Morrell Presley’s health
One other thing I forgot to mention about the 7-on-7 was freshman Morrell Presley’s performance. He had a cast on his wrist from offseason surgery, but it didn’t keep him from running routes and making one-handed catches.
I know folks are asking about Presley, and how he will be used. At this time, I think he will be used more as a hybrid receiver than a true tight end because he needs to get bigger and stronger.
Coleman’s helping hands
UCLA running back Derrick Coleman visited Saticoy Elementary School in North Hollywood to talk about overcoming hearing loss to play football.

Just got to the Bay Area for hoops tonight, checked my email and was told Narbonne High defensive back Sean Parker just received a scholarship offer from UCLA.
