Thanks for posting this. I felt like I was there too! Dohn can't be there since Rick, Norm & Company needed him to find out the latest and greatest.

They did say the coaches were reading the local newspaper blog!

Good job BD. Can't wait till next season to come.

that was a great read. my favorite part was:
"Please Randall," pleads youngest son Joe. "We really need you!"

I have read the aforementioned ESPN article referenced by Brian Dohn. I am shocked at many of the scandalous illustrations of possible NCAA violations.

For example: "Please Randall," pleads youngest son Joe. "We really need you!"

I have researched this issue on the Internets and read all of the documentation on the regulations. Puting aside all facts and the law, having a coach's family memeber recruit Randoll Carroll is potentially a NCAA violation. Unless this person haspassed the NCAA recruiter test administered by the NCAA, then this person is not qualified to lobby recruits on behalf of UCLA. To wit, I am shocked and surprised that other competing Pac-10 Universities or like-minded NCAA watchdogs have not jumped on this opportunity to file a grievance with the NCAA. Count your lucky stars, Bruins Fans, for you have dodged another bullet. Cheers!

I was under the impression Neu and son was at UCLA and Carroll was at the FSN studios. How is pleading at a TV screen possibly a violation?

I know Carroll and family was at the studio cause I was watching the same program and didn't hear any pleading in the background.

Huh? Is little Joe telepathic? Is this the Shining?

Lawyer John, you must be a fraud.

Little Joe was talking to the Television or computer monitor as RC was picking the Blue Hat, much like Norm was saying C'mon Stan, UCLA UCLA UCLA to the monitor when Hasiak was making the best choice in his young life.
