UCLA spent few months talking about how it wanted to stay in the West because of fan support. Now that the Bruins are in the east, is it a good thing because they can stay away from all the distractions?
“You could look at it either way,” Bruins wing Josh Shipp said. “If we’re close to home, we could have all our fans there. You might say it’s a distraction because we have family around and stuff. But we’re ready to play. I think at this point it doesn’t matter. You just got to block everything out and you just got to go out on the court and play the game.”
