Pro day check-in

| | Comments (3) |

I'll have a few reports from UCLA's pro day, which began about 15 minutes ago. There are about 35 scouts here now, and I'm told as many as 50 are expected.
It's a big day for defensive tackle Brigham Harwell, who is hoping to get noticed after being shut out of the senior all-star games and the NFL combines. He began the day by bench pressing 225 pounds 36 times.
On a side note, former UCLA receiver Brandon Breazell was scheduled to be here, but is a no-show.

Good start for Harwell...36 reps would've been 2nd for all DL's in the combine

Nice. I am still amazed at the lack of love this guys has seen from the NFL. He seems to be a nice sized DE in a 3-4.

How many scouts would show up to the UCLA pro if they did not schedule it the day before the USC pro day? You have to give RN credit for using the USC pro day to give his guys a look.
