Today's goodies
Here is the story I wrote for today's paper on UCLA's offseason workouts, the story of former UCLA quarterback Ben Olson injuring his foot again, and a notebook that includes the transfer of quarterback Chris Forcier.
On a side note, in talking to Olson, he told me he finished his course work during the winter quarter and has graduated with a degree in history.

Great story on the off season workouts. Does anybody remember why KD stopped the training table? I can't think of one good reason anyone would do that except for financial reasons, and that doesn't make any sense at UCLA.
Let's leave Olson alone. He chose to come to UCLA, and he was oft injured behind the worst of offensive lines to ever play at UCLA. He is a quality individual.
I am so relieved to know that there is accountability in the UCLA football program now. It may take another year or two, but we are on track to becoming a perennial top-20 team.
Good stuff, glad to hear the team is working hard.
Brian, Great article about the spring work outs. Do you mind giving us a few more weight/muscle gaining tidbits? Like how else looks bigger, stronger. Thanks.
I'm totally impressed with our team's hard work!
wow, the story really makes coach Karl Dorrell and E.J. "Doc" Kreis look silly
