I wrote a story for today’s paper on new defensive coordinator Chuck Bullough, and how he differs from former defensive coordinator DeWayne Walker. Also, OL Sonny Tevaga was candid about his situation at UCLA.
Also, here is what Bruins linebacker Reggie Carter said in comparing Bullough and Walker.
“Coach Walker can get into you, and coach Walker could hurt your feelings, too,” UCLA senior linebacker Reggie Carter said affectionately. “Coach Bullough, he’s yelling at you, and you’re (ticked) off. Coach Walker, if you didn’t know how to take it, you’d be holding your head down low. Both guys love football, love coaching, and love, love, love when we play hard.”
